The game is based on the internationally popular Japanese manga series Attack on Titan, both written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. ‘Attack on Titan’ is a single player action, hack and slash video game which can also be played online. The sequel to the game would also later be released on the PlayStation 4 console. This title would later be ported to the PlayStation 4 and the handheld console PlayStation Vita. In the European release the title was renamed as Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom (Europe). The Attack on Titan franchise has one Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) game to date called Attack on Titan.
